Always changing and growing!

I went with Casie on her class filed trip this month. Orchestra and the Wexner Art Museum. Lots of fun with 40 5th graders! Orchestra was incredible!
Milo is growing like crazy! Last week we found out he has a lazy eye, so to fix it he needs a patch for a bit. So he decided it needed to be decorated!
Milo also learned how to tie his shoes! AND lost a tooth!!
with another just about to fall out. whew...
Casie and I had a blast Saturday night and celebrated her great grade card by going to see the Ohio Roller Derby Girls and getting a milkshake! My kind of date!
We might need to look into larger sized LazyBoy chairs, ya think?

September 2010

In September I always expect life to slow down. huh, it never does...

Milo had a Happy 6th camo party. This is him and Joey, with the coolest birthday present ever made by Joey

We planned a game, but most kids would rather run around and chase each other! lol

Went to Youngs Dairy a few weeks back for the Fiber Fest. So many dreamy fibers I love it. Almost came home with some pigs and goats.

Wouldnt Chuma love to have these cute little friends? I said cute not tasty.

They say it takes a village...

But in reality, it takes an army to get Gus to go to sleep!
they humored me for a moment after thanksgiving dinner,
then went right back to the DS game!
Found out what to put under the tree this year instead of toys!
Germ had to cut a barrel in half last week for a project. Who needs toys. they turned these guys into boats and tanks in no time!Casie looks like one of those Chinese dragons in the Chinese New Year parade!

simplicity

Don't be a hater. I know you are envoius of Milo's new jet.
It even comes with it's own "don't ever push this" button,
and his own cannon (that the dog just ate an hour ago)
He played in this box for hours shooting at the bad guys,
flying all around the world. All from a box.

I wish life would continue to be as simple as a cardboard box.
Or atleast that people would allow their imaginations to continue to be this expressive and simple.

Speaking of simple things in life. the kids LOVE the leaves right now.

We have been collecting leaves for our garden from neighbors to pack down on the garden beds. (got some? bring them over!)
So you know who has to play in them first.

yes we found leaves in every bit of our clothes!
but that is what makes it so fun they say
