They say it takes a village...

But in reality, it takes an army to get Gus to go to sleep!
they humored me for a moment after thanksgiving dinner,
then went right back to the DS game!
Found out what to put under the tree this year instead of toys!
Germ had to cut a barrel in half last week for a project. Who needs toys. they turned these guys into boats and tanks in no time!Casie looks like one of those Chinese dragons in the Chinese New Year parade!

80"s glam metal time!

there are times when your kids are too quiet and you start to worry. the other rainy afternoon was one of those times. when I asked what they were doing
they squealed "HOLD ON!!"
a few minutes later I hear
"presenting Rock Star MILO!!!"
Then Milo had a turn dressing up Casie!

She is loving the shoes aunt joy gave her! lol
Peace out baby!!

letterboxing and new bike

Last year we started Letterboxing to get the kids out of the house
and into the woods with an excuse. When your kids love pirates,
they dont need an excuse to treasure hunt, right?!
Casie at WhetstoneMilo and I started part of the Indian Jones Letterboxing at Hoover last month.
It was too muddy so we will have to go back with Casie's help.

Milo got an early birthday present last week.
His first bmx bike from bought from Uncle Casey's shop!
He likes it because it looks like bumblebee the transformer!
Do you love his riding gear?

Coolest Haircuts in Town!

OMG!
I have to say my kids are just way too cute.
Maybe I am biased being Mom and all, but after
Maika got done cutting their hair, WOW!

The kids hair is just way to cool and cute!

I don't remember having hair this cool when I was young!
Milo has a break down every time Maika cuts his hair,
but when it is done, he likes it. He may need some therapy so he doesnt
associate hair cutting trama with his Aunt! :)
When they get older they will have to thank Aunt Maika
for their extra cool hair styles!
